I always wanted to work with stained glass. My friend had a
wonderful stained glass studio and was going to teach me. My
first lesson was a disaster. I was so afraid of cutting the glass
that every time I tried I got glass splinters in my fingers. It didn't
take me long to realize that this was not for me. Painting can be
messy but at least it doesn't hurt!

There will only ever be one Tiffany! Amazingly beautiful cuts
of glass formed to make the most incredible works of art. If you
want to read a good book on Tiffany check out the Tiffany Girls.
Candice Wheeler was the main designer for Tiffany and designed
many, many of the Tiffany works without credit for her work.
She ran the Tiffany shop and the ladies that worked there. I am
reading it as an ebook now so you know what  inspired this
painting.

I would love to have a room like this on a lake. Imagine a lake
of stained glass and sitting here looking out at all those colors.
Have a cup of tea from the Tiffany pot, dim the Tiffany lamp
for ambiance and enjoy Tiffany on The Lake!
