What was Will Barnet thinking when he painted this?

Portrait of Will Barnet with his painting Alantis

The fun part of this composition is inserting Will into his painting as if he
was having a conversation with his image in his work.

"Painting is almost like a religious experience, which should go on and on. Age just gives you the freedom to do some things you've never done before. Great work can come at any stage of your life." (Will Barnet)

Mini Masters - Small Collectable Reproductions and Masters Portraits

These beautiful little Mini's are painted on  8 x 8 canvas covered hardwood panel (not masonite) that I have made in my studio. They will not warp and will last a lifetime. Sides are painted to match so no frame needed unless desired. They are wired and ready to hang. Small and Collectable.
